Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to perform respiratory therapy procedures and pulmonary diagnostics under medical direction, with potential lead responsibilities during shifts.

This full-time night position offers a pay range of $33.15 to $44.62 per hour, eligible for a sign-on bonus; required licenses and certifications, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• Current NBRC RRT credential or within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• PALS certification preferred.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Associate or BS degree preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered, with focus on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation.
• May be identified as Lead RCP and assume department responsibilities during a shift.
