Emory Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with established credentials to join our clinical team in Georgia. The role emphasizes evidence-based patient care, mentoring, and collaboration across units such as ICU, NICU, and ED.

The ideal candidate holds GA licensure as an RCP, NBRC RRT, AARC membership, and a strong set of certifications (ECMO, Intubation, FCCS, PALS, NRP, or related). BLS required and ACLS within 6 months; travel and continuous education are expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Respiratory Care required; Bachelor's in Respiratory Care or related science preferred.
• Currently licensed as an active Respiratory Care Practitioner in Georgia.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by NBRC.
• Active membership in American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC).
• One of: ECMO training, Intubation, FCCS instructor, PALS, NRP, AARC Pulmonary Disease Educator, AARC Asthma Educator Certificate, AARC Pulmonary Rehabilitation certificate.
• BLS required; ACLS required for adult critical care within 6 months of hire; ACCS/PFT/AE-C certifications may be preferred depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care within respiratory therapy, adhering to evidence-based practices.
• Assesses unit needs, reports to supervisor, and supports the care team in complex situations.
• Mentors RCP I and participates in department education; serves as a preceptor as needed.
• Engages in professional activities and attends in-services; may serve as department resource for equipment and procedures.
