Qualificações

• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of Washington.
• Certification (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Graduation from a CoARC-accredited program with an Associate or Baccalaureate degree.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
• PALS certification.
• NRP certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct prescribed therapeutic procedures to maintain patient airways.
• Set priorities for respiratory care patients using clinical assessment.
• Collect and evaluate clinical information through assessment and patient evaluation.
• Determine need for oxygen delivery devices based on patient evaluation.
• Inspect chest x-rays for artificial airway presence or thoracic changes.
• Evaluate patient response to therapy and adjust parameters accordingly.
• Perform broncho-hygiene and administer prescribed medications.
• Perform age-appropriate assessment and treatment based on patient growth and development.
• Perform bedside spirometry and pulmonary mechanics assessments.
• Initiate and modify respiratory support in emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
