Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients across the Infant ICU, Pediatric ICU, ED, Medical, Surgical, Hem/Onc and Rehab units in Seattle.

External candidates with 2+ years of ICU experience are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus; relocation assistance is available.

Applicants must have an AMA‑accredited Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care, NBRC registration, Washington license, and BLS (or PALS with 6 months to hire).

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care from an AMA approved school.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC.
• Current Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers; PALS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to all patients in the Infant ICU, Pediatric ICU, ED, Medical, Surgical, Hem/Onc and Rehab units.

Education

Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care

Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner license

Registered Respiratory Therapist NBRC

BLS/PNALS (PALS)
