Job summary

MultiCare Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver advanced respiratory care, ventilator management and diagnostic procedures for diverse patient populations. The role operates independently with limited supervision and supports both acute care and critical care teams.

Requirements include WA state licensure as an RCP and NBRC RRT registration, ACLS/NRP/PALS credentials within 90 days, and at least one year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program.
• Registered as RRT by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in Washington.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS credentials required within 90 days of hire depending on population served.
• Health Care Provider CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of acute care experience in respiratory therapy and critical care; RRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions.
• Manage ventilator support and perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Conduct ongoing clinical evaluation and adjust treatment objectives.
