Job summary

PAM Health is opening a brand-new rehabilitation hospital in Wesley Chapel, FL, seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to serve a diverse patient population. The RCP will perform therapy, diagnostics, and emergency procedures while ensuring equipment is properly maintained and phlebotomy/ basic labs are available as needed.

Ideal candidates have inpatient hospital experience and hold current state licensure with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintains all equipment in working order and provides phlebotomy and basic lab testing as required.
