Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical respiratory care and is committed to learning in a critical care setting.

Applicants must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications and be licensed in the state where the hospital resides. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred; experiential requirement is commonly one year of clinical respiratory care experience.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care. Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification. Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada. For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order.
