Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team and care for diverse patient populations. The ideal candidate will have licensure in the state, current BLS and ACLS, and a commitment to learning in a high-acuity setting.

We value at least one year of clinical respiratory experience and a willingness to grow through our Education Advancement Program, with opportunities across PAM Health’s network of facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Blood gas licensure required if Nevada.
• High school diploma or associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Respiratory Care Practitioner performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
