Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Venice in Florida seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team. The ideal candidate has inpatient experience or a strong desire to learn and grow within a compassionate care environment.

You will perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, maintain equipment, and assist with phlebotomy and basic lab testing as required.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in Nevada.
• High school diploma required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintains all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested.
