Providence Swedish Issaquah seeks a Respiratory Therapist to set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment, serving adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.

Qualifications

• Accredited respiratory therapy program completed and eligible for licensure in Washington.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License required at hire.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required or obtained within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• Care delivery for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations.

Job description

$10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment

Sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. May work with adult, pediatric and neonatal patient populations.

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State
• Upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualification:

• 6 months of previous hospital based work experience, in the field of respiratory care
