Job summary

Providence Swedish Issaquah is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for night shift in a part-time, on-site role. Eligible external hires receive a $10,000 hiring bonus.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating respiratory care equipment for diagnose and treat respiratory disease across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Required licensure, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS within set deadlines; preferred hospital-based experience.

Qualifications

• Accredited respiratory therapy program completed.
• Upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• PALS within 90 days of hire.

$10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. May work with adult, pediatric and neonatal patient populations.

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State


• Upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License


• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association


• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire


• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualification

• 6 months of previous hospital based work experience, in the field of respiratory care
