Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center in Seattle is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. You will be a resource to colleagues and may participate in training and scheduling as needed.

The role requires graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program, WA license, and BLS. ACLS and PALS within 90 days, with a $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates various respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment across patient populations.
• Acts as a resource person for other employees and may train or communicate instructions to staff.
• May assist with scheduling and inspect work to separate acceptable from unacceptable performance.
