Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NBRC-approved School of Respiratory Care.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Current New Jersey Respiratory Care Practitioner License required.
• Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of advanced respiratory care experience including adult/neonatal ventilator management.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Respiratory Care staff and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
• Coordinate respiratory care services in ICU, CCU, CTICU, and Emergency Department.
• Manage departmental operations in the absence of the Respiratory Director.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet patient care demands.
• Lead staff development, performance evaluations, recruiting, and engagement initiatives.
• Assist with budget management and departmental planning.
