Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner Coordinator to oversee hospital-wide respiratory care for adults, pediatrics and neonatal units. This role requires leadership of on-shift staff and clinical resource support.

Under the direction of the department manager, you will coordinate services, ensure quality and appropriate care, and promote teamwork within a values-driven, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RCP license from the State of Illinois (IDFPR).
• BLS for Healthcare Provider (AHA).
• NRP and PALS within 90 days of hire.
• Associate degree; bachelor's degree preferred within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor hospital-wide respiratory care delivery.
• Supervise all personnel on the assigned shift.
• Provide leadership as a clinical resource for defined services.

What you’ll do

Under general direction of the department manager, according to departmental and hospital standards, the Respiratory Care Practitioner Coordinator, coordinates and monitors the delivery of Respiratory Care services hospital wide (Adults, Pediatrics, and Neonatal) ensuring quality and appropriateness, by supervising all personnel on the assigned shift as well as providing leadership as a clinical resource for defined services.

What you’ll need for this job

• RCP License from the State of Illinois through IDFPR
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) through the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hiring
• Associate degree (bachelor's degree within 18 months of starting)
• Bachelor's degree preferred at time of hire/transfer
• 3-5 years experience with neo/peds population
• 6-10 years experience with neo/peds population preferred

Pay Range

$36.50 - $54.35 per hour Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
