UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Marlborough, MA. The role delivers respiratory support across age groups, including arterial blood gases, artificial airways, and mechanical ventilation, in line with department policy.

Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program, licensed in Massachusetts, and current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Qualificações

• Must be a graduate of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care.
• Licensed in the state of Massachusetts in respiratory care.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers (BLSHP).
• Maintenance of CEUs in accordance with licensure regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Appropriately documents all care activity performed and charges in the hospital EMR system.
• Participates in hospital and departmental performance improvement activities.
• Demonstrates competency in utilization and maintenance of arterial blood gas machines.
• Demonstrates competency in proper setup and utilization of ventilators, V60 NIPPV and high-flow oxygen therapy.
• Demonstrates competency in disinfection, transport and setup of equipment.
