UMass Memorial Health Marlborough is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide a full range of respiratory care, including arterial blood gases and ventilator support. You will document activities in the EMR, participate in quality and safety initiatives, and ensure patient safety across age groups from perinatal to geriatric.
The role emphasizes reliability and professional practice in a high-volume hospital setting.
Formación
- Must be a graduate of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care.
- Licensed in the state of Massachusetts in respiratory care.
- Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- Maintenance of CEU's per licensure requirements.
Responsabilidades
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
- Documents care activity and charges in the EMR system.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
- Maintains competency with arterial blood gas machines and ventilators.
- Operates High Flow Oxygen Therapy systems and related equipment.
- Follows hospital standards of behavior and completes annual competencies.
