Job summary

The Respiratory Clinical Manager (RCM) is accountable for the daily shift operations of the respiratory department and for assisting the Director of Respiratory Care with human resources, quality, and financial management. The RCM oversees clinical operations and care delivery on an assigned shift, mentoring staff and ensuring adherence to standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NRP preferred.
• Texas Medical Board credential and RRT registered.
• Minimum 5 years’ related clinical experience; 3 years in management/leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations of the respiratory department.
• Coach and mentor respiratory care staff to ensure high-quality, evidence-based practice.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and department policies.
• Collaborate with DRC and other disciplines to optimize patient care outcomes.
