Job summary

Ranken Jordan is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapy leader to serve as the shift-level clinical and operational lead for the Respiratory Therapy department. You will coordinate daily staffing, workflow, and patient care activities to ensure safe, high-quality care and act as a key resource for respiratory staff and the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Current Missouri Respiratory Therapist license and RRT credential.
Minimum 3 years of pediatric respiratory care experience.
BLS certification; PALS certification required or obtained during orientation.
CPI training or to be completed on hire; strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive respiratory care and supervise shift-level clinical activities.
Coordinate daily staffing and workflow to maintain safe, efficient care.
Serve as primary clinical resource for staff with real-time guidance and decision support.
Mentor staff through onboarding, training, and ongoing development.
Collaborate with Department Manager on staffing, performance, and issue resolution.
Monitor quality and compliance through audits and documentation reviews.
Support policy and practice improvements based on outcomes and evidence.
Coordinate discharge planning for respiratory needs with Care Coordinators.
