Respiratory Care Clinical - Adjunct Faculty

Apply to teach day classes at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC). Adjunct faculty will provide clinical education as organized by the CCBC Respiratory Care Therapist Program, attend department meetings, participate in professional development, and utilize college resources to support teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical instruction in respiratory care to students according to program curriculum.
• Prepare and submit required teaching materials to the Director of Clinical Education on time.
• Attend department meetings, professional development sessions, and campus events.

• Bachelor’s Degree and A.A.S. degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Current RRT credential and Maryland license.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; previous clinical teaching experience preferred.

Compensation

Level 1 adjunct faculty: $1,085 per credit hour.

Adjunct faculty may teach up to 22 credit hours in a year and typically no more than 11 credits per semester.
