Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Services professional to support Neonatal to geriatric patients with respiratory care treatments, oxygen administration, suctioning and ABG analysis. Works under supervision of a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in a part-time role.

The position requires enrollment in a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program, NCRCB RCA eligibility, and BLS certification, with sign-on eligibility per policy.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care program and in good standing.
• Registered with the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board as an RCA.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications per facility standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory care treatments and oxygen administration.
• Suctioning and arterial blood gas puncture and analysis.
• Ensure age-specific care and document education for patients and families.
