University Hospitals is seeking a Respiratory Care Assistant to learn and apply the hospital's mission and behavior standards. The role performs basic competencies during orientation and provides independent respiratory care after education and competency verification.

Responsibilities include delivering medicated aerosols, airway clearance therapy, patient monitoring, oxygen/humidity therapy, and CPR or data collection as needed.

A Brief Overview

The Respiratory Care Assistant is learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This Assistant performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory care independently post verification of education and completed competency.
