Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a Respiratory Care Assistant PRN to support airway clearance, monitor patients, and manage oxygen and humidity therapies. The role includes performing special procedures and collecting data while following hospital policies and HIPAA guidelines.

The incumbent will be enrolled in an accredited respiratory care program and must hold a current Ohio Limited Practice Permit, with prior basic respiratory therapy experience preferred.

Qualifications

A Brief Overview

The Respiratory Care Assistant is learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This Assistant performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory care independently post verification of education and completed competency.
