Job summary

ECU Health Duplin Hospital invites applications for an Assistant Manager of Respiratory Care. The role supports the Respiratory Care Manager in coordinating and directing department activities, and promotes staff growth through education and best practice strategies.

The position ensures high-quality patient care and assists with planning and organizational duties, including on-call responsibilities and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Associate degree in Respiratory Care required.
• RRT with at least 3 years of experience required.
• NC Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required.
• ACLS/PALS required; in non-medical center hospitals BLS/ACLS/PALS and NRP may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Respiratory Care Manager in coordinating and directing department activities.
• Foster clinical growth through educational initiatives for staff.
• Plan, organize and direct Respiratory Care services as directed by the Manager.
• Support quality and best practice strategies within the department.
