Job summary

Mercy Health is hiring a Respiratory Aide II at St. Charles Hospital for PRN shifts. You will support licensed Respiratory Therapists by performing basic respiratory care for non-acute patients, assist with equipment setup, and maintain supplies.

The role requires current AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program status (student or graduate) and BLS certification, with strong organizational skills and the ability to interact well with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Respiratory Care Program or recent graduate (AMA-approved).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic respiratory care to non-acute patients under supervision.
• Set up and monitor respiratory equipment and oxygen delivery devices.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist with supplies.
