Zohorecruit in Tucson, AZ seeks a Resources Geologist reporting to the Chief Geologist to supervise exploration drilling and hourly staff. The role covers field mapping, core logging, geological modeling, and ore control.

Responsibilities include building long- and short-term resource models, 3D geological modeling, QA/QC of drilling data, database management, geotechnical and geometallurgical modeling, and coordinating drilling plans and budget programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology or related field from a four-year college.
• 3–7 years of geological field experience.
• Strong knowledge of geostatistics; master's degree a plus.
• Advanced mining software: MinePlan, Datamine, Micromine, Leapfrog.
• Intermediate skills in Acquire and Datashed databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term resource and reserve block modeling from drilling data.
• Perform 3D geological modeling: lithology, alteration, and mineralization.
• QA/QC of drilling data; samples validation and charting.
• Database management; supervise data input/output.
• Geotechnical modeling and UCS testing.
• Geometallurgical modeling and data correlations.
• Support infill and exploration drilling plans.
