The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities in Albany is seeking a Resources and Reimbursement Program Development Specialist 1 to help secure Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP and other benefits for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role involves investigating benefit maximization issues, providing technical support and training to advocates and agencies, and resolving reimbursement problems.

This is a full-time permanent position with telecommuting allowed up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in research, development, or implementation of regulations or policies related to funding programs for healthcare, mental health, or developmental disabilities services.
• Experience with financial benefits (Medicaid, Medicare, SSI, SSDI and SNAP) for individuals with disabilities
• Experience with NYS OTDA/Medicaid systems such as WMS, eMedNY, or ePACES
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsabilités
