Job summary

Community Action Agency of Greater Kansas City is seeking a Resource Specialist to support low-income residents in Missouri. A high school diploma or GED with data entry and experience navigating data management systems and linkage to community resources is required.

The role involves screening clients, handling case notes, and working a compressed schedule Monday–Thursday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm with a one-hour lunch.

Community Action Agency of Greater Kansas City is a nonprofit organization providing programs and services to low-income residents of Jackson, Platte and Clay counties, Missouri.

A successful Resource Specialist candidate has a high school diploma or GED with experience working with data entry experience, navigating through several data management systems, project management, linkage to community resources, screening clients, and writing skills (case notes). This is repetitive work and you must be comfortable sitting at a workstation at least 90% of the day.

Our compressed work week, Monday –Thursday from 8:00 am -6:00 pm, with an hour lunch, is the first step to supporting our team members with a work-life balance.
