Job summary

Snohomish School District seeks a Paraeducator B to support individual and small group instruction for students with IEP goals, medical needs, or behavioral needs. The role emphasizes academic support, behavior management, and fostering independence under teacher direction.

The position is temporary through the 2026-27 school year with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in Snohomish, WA. Salary ranges from $28.91 to $32.84 per hour plus SEBB benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or 72 quarter credits / 48 semester credits at 100 level or higher required.
• Paraeducator assessments may be used to meet qualifications.
• Fundamental Course of Study (FCS) Paraeducator Certificate required on hire.
• Must meet additional qualifications listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Assist with individualized and small group instruction for students with diverse needs.
• Support students with academic tasks, behavior management, and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement accommodations and strategies.
• Adapt to changing student needs and assignments based on current requirements.

Education
