Snohomish School District is seeking a Paraeducator A for the Resource Room – Overload Support on a temporary basis through December 18, 2026. The role involves assisting students with IEPs, providing academic support, and promoting independence. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, and meet one of the listed education/assessment options.
• Possess required coursework or degree level as specified (associate degree or higher, or 72/48 credits, or approved assessments).
• Upon hire, complete the FCS-Paraeducator Certificate and meet job description qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support students with IEPs under the building administrator.
• Provide direct academic support and assist in accessing education.
• Assist with behavior management and foster student independence.
• Collaborate with staff to implement accommodations and strategies.
