Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual/Biliterate in Spanish preferred.
• Associates degree or 72 college credits preferred.
• K-12 experience preferred.
• First aid/CPR certification required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Use trauma-informed strategies to build safe, supportive relationships and respond to student needs with empathy.
• Accurately collect and document data related to academic progress, behavior, and IEP goals.
• Follow behavior intervention plans and apply CPI strategies to de-escalate.
• Assist in delivering instruction in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional areas.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction and support.
• Assist with classroom management and preparation of materials.
