The Springfield City School District is seeking an Intervention Specialist at Lincoln Elementary School for the 2026-27 school year. The role requires an Ohio teaching certificate in Special Education and a bachelor’s degree, with experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.

You will develop and implement IEPs, collaborate on inclusive lesson planning, and coordinate schedules and interventions.

Formación

• Valid Ohio teaching certificate or license in Special Education.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience working with students with disabilities and diverse learning needs.
• Ability to design, adapt, modify and implement instruction to meet individual needs.
• Ability to arrange and coordinate schedules for planning and instructional purposes.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in the ETR process with evaluations, progress data, and observations.
• Develops, with a team, a student's IEP compliant with laws.
• Collaborates on inclusive lesson planning with team members.
• Plans interventions, accommodations, and modifications for students.
• Provides specially designed instruction and supports general education teachers.
• Aligns lesson plans to standards for students with disabilities.
• Provides progress reports to parents per IEP goals.
• Prepares interim progress reports and quarterly grades.
• Helps students identify strengths and advocate for themselves.
• Works with parents to explain the disability and goals.
