Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse to support the Navicent Resource Team and float to affiliated facilities, providing high-quality patient care. This 36-hour-per-week position requires adaptability, strong clinical skills, and adherence to safety and evidence-based practice.

Qualified candidates will have BSN and active RN license, BLS, and 1–2 years of nursing experience, with proficiency in electronic health records and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the applicable state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Uphold and promote a culture of safety and ethical practice.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and participate in professional development.
