Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID seeks a part-time Resource RN to support the Gynecologic Oncology clinic.

You will triage and provide coverage for the primary RN, handle patient communication, and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered care team.

No nights or weekends; sign-on bonus eligible; Oncology/outpatient experience preferred; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Triage in the clinic includes: patient education, wound care, and coordinating with the primary RN.
• Provide coverage for the primary RN in the Gynecologic Oncology clinic in Boise.
• Communicate with patients via messages or phone regarding care needs and follow-up.

What You Can Expect:

• Part-time: 3 days a week x 9-hour shifts
• No nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays!
• Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!
• Certification pay (ex. OCN)
• Our Resource RN will support triage and provide coverage for the primary RN’s when needed within the Gynecologic Oncology clinic in Boise
• Triage in the clinic includes: being on the computer corresponding with patients via messages or on the phone regarding staple removals, bladder trials, wound care, patient education, etc.
• You will be joining a dynamic, passionate team, specializing in women's oncology care!

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Health & Safety Institute
• Preferred: Oncology, surgical or outpatient clinic experience
