Qualifications

• RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served.
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the team.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and promotes safety culture.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
• Adheres to ethical practice and delegates appropriately to staff.
