Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a registered nurse in Ohio to deliver patient-centered care within the hospital’s professional practice model. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across nursing disciplines in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include holistic assessment, care planning, SBAR communication, and ongoing patient and family education, with emphasis on safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensure to practice nursing in Ohio is required.
• BLS certification is required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS is required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Certification in specialty area expected within five years of eligibility.
• BSN must be completed within five years for hires after Jan 2010.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates holistic assessment of patient needs using the nursing process.
• Communicates plan of care using SBAR and handoff processes.
• Delivers evidence-based nursing care and patient education.
• Responds to emergencies with precision and appropriate actions.
• Maintains safety and infection control throughout care delivery.
