Southern California Edison is seeking a Supply Chain Inventory Management Senior Specialist to drive performance across materials planning, forecasting, and supplier collaboration. You will leverage SAP/EWM, Ariba, and Excel to optimize inventory levels and improve reliability across the value chain.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional teamwork, and implementing safe, cost-effective strategies to support operations in a demanding utility environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in supply chain sourcing, supplier relationship management, and process optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience with inventory performance forecasting and identifying supply chain risks.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and reports on supply chain project requirements, including material supply, transportation, and discrepancies, and field laydown yards, to support operational performance and decision-making.
• Collaborates with key supply chain and procurement stakeholders to support material planning and prioritization activities, working with teams to source and expedite critical materials.
• Maintains data integrity and reporting for key metrics (materials movement and handling time/efficiency, loss reporting, stock levels, safety incident performance) to track operational performance and evaluate potential risks.
• Conducts root cause analysis of performance issues and proposes initiatives to optimize operational activities, driving continuous improvement and cost savings.
• Provides strategic recommendations and reports to management throughout the supply chain and procurement teams to support informed decision-making and align with organizational goals.
• Leverages data and cost analysis to monitor and track performance, identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and develop actionable insights to drive operational excellence.
• Works with suppliers at tactical levels to maintain effective supplier relationships and mutual success.
• Identifies and implements supplier performance goals using data-driven insights to drive improvements.
