Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Resource Nurse for the 3 North adult medical–surgical telemetry unit in Milton, MA. You will oversee patient flow, coordinate the episode of care and ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care as part of the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires BSN, MA RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, telemetry experience and at least two years med-surgical experience. Competitive benefits, predictable day-shift hours, and access to parking near Boston.

Qualifications

• Current licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
• BSN required with telemetry and med-surgical experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow on the unit and manage admission, discharge and transfers.
• Develop and implement evidence-based policies and nursing plans of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Assign team members to patient care and monitor daily patient needs.
• Participate in rounds, huddles and unit meetings, and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain unit supplies and ensure equipment is working properly.
