Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Milton is hiring a Resource Nurse for a 40-hour day shift on the Medical–Surgical/Telemetry unit. You will support smooth patient flow, ensure evidence-based care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires current MA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and telemetry experience, with a preference for 2+ years in medical-surgical settings. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment within Beth Israel

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• Two years med-surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow on the unit and ensure safe, efficient care.
• Plan and coordinate episodes of care including discharge planning.
• Assign staff to patient assignments and supervise nurse activities.
• Attend interdisciplinary rounds and communicate action items.
• Maintain unit supplies and equipment; ensure safety and infection control.
