Qualifications

Recent acute Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
Current licensure as a Registered nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association before hire.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care using the nursing process and document care plans.
Assess and respond to patients’ cultural and language needs; use interpreters as needed.
Provide health teaching to patients and families.
Collaborate with health care teams to ensure quality and continuity of care.
Care for patients across age groups, including telemetry monitoring.
Maintain competencies and adhere to safety and hospital policies.
Attend trainings and participate in unit meetings and committees as directed.
