Cedar Sinai Park in Portland, OR is seeking a Resource Nurse to support admissions, coordinate care on the floor, and model the staff expectations. The role acts as an informal leader during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality resident care.

You will collaborate with physicians, CNAs, CMAs, and pharmacy staff, manage admissions tasks, document thoroughly in the EHR, and assist with care planning, assessments, and discharge activities while upholding our person-first care

Formación

• Unencumbered nursing license in Oregon; RN/LPN/LV.
• Minimum 1 year of floor experience in a SNF.
• Knowledge of long-term care policies, laws, and guidelines.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; meet annual CE requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with interdisciplinary team to support admissions.
• Ensure rooms are assigned and admit-ready; coordinate with central supply and maintenance.
• Delegate admission tasks to CNAs and coordinate follow-up.
• Coordinate medications with pharmacy, providers, and CMAs; ensure on-hand or retrieved.
• Transcribe orders and care information into the EHR per RJHC policy.
• Maintain objective, professional documentation in the resident EHR.
• Assist with audits, care planning, and wound care as assigned.
• Manage emotional and physical demands of the role with professionalism.
