Job summary

Stanford Medicine Partners seeks a Resource Medical Assistant to support clinic patient care teams across SMP locations. You will perform patient rooming, take vitals, document care, and assist with procedures to ensure timely, high-quality service.

Travel to multiple SMP clinics is required; you will assist with medication ordering, specimen collection, injections, telemedicine support, and patient outreach to close care gaps while maintaining accurate charting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Diploma or equivalent training.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant.
• 2+ years of related ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient rooming and vital signs.
• Medical documentation and chart preparation.
• Medication and supply ordering.
• Specimen collection and POCT.
• Injections and other clinic procedures.
• Patient outreach to address gaps in care & follow-up.
• Assists with telemedicine services and physician procedures.
• Rx refill and processing prior authorization.
• Maintenance of department A3.
• Scribes for providers if needed.
