Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in the Nashville area seeks a detailed, travel-ready MDS float RN/LPN to cover open positions across KY, TN, IN and NC. The role requires delivering resident assessments, RAI compliance, and coordinating with centers while traveling Monday through Friday.

You will join a family-based healthcare organization with strong benefits and mileage lodging reimbursements; travel time is extensive with overnights as needed.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with ability to obtain multi-state licensures.
• Minimum of three (3) years MDS experience in a long-term care setting.
• Willingness to travel Monday–Friday with overnight stays as needed (up to 100%).

Responsibilities

• Provide MDS coverage for open positions, educate and implement programs that apply to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), Prospective Payment Systems (PPS), Quality Measures (QM’s), Medicaid Casemix and Medicare guidelines for all SHC stakeholders.
• Assist and collaborate with Clinical Reimbursement Specialist with onboarding of new MDSC.
• Exhibit competency in all areas of the RAI, Care Planning, PPS, Medicare, and when applicable Medicaid Case Mix

Overview

The ideal MDS float Candidate is very detailed orientated, organized, self-motivated, while still being bedside for resident assessment and meeting with families. The ability to travel Monday – Friday is a must.
