Job summary

Signature HealthCARE, LLC is seeking an MDS float candidate to provide resident assessment coverage across our centers. The role requires detailed, organized, self-motivated nursing professionals who will travel Monday through Friday with overnight stays as needed.

The ideal candidate holds current RN or LPN licensure with multi-state capability and has at least 3 years of MDS experience in long-term care. Mileage and lodging are reimbursed, and full-time travel positions in KY/TN/IN/NC are

• Willingness to travel to centers up to 100% of the time with overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide MDS coverage for open positions and educate/implement RAI, PPS, QM, Medicaid/Medicare guidelines for SHC stakeholders.
• Assist and collaborate with Clinical Reimbursement Specialist during onboarding of new MDSC.
• Exhibit competency in RAI, Care Planning, PPS, Medicare and Medicaid Case Mix where applicable.

Overview

The ideal MDS float Candidate is very detailed orientated, organized, self-motivated, while still being bedside for resident assessment and meeting with families. The ability to travel Monday – Friday is a must.

How you Will make a difference

• Provide MDS coverage for open positions, educate and implement programs that apply to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), Prospective Payment Systems (PPS), Quality Measures (QM’s), Medicaid Casemix and Medicare guidelines for all SHC stakeholders.
• Assist and collaborate with Clinical Reimbursement Specialist with onboarding of new MDSC.
• Exhibit competency in all areas of the RAI, Care Planning, PPS, Medicare, and when applicable Medicaid Case Mix

What you Need to make a Difference

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with ability to obtain multi-state licensures.
• Minimum of three (3) years MDS experience in a long-term care setting.
• Travel to centers up to 100% of the time with overnight stays as needed.
