Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking a Resource Management, Senior Specialist (Assurance) to support the South-West region with Pacific Time Zone hours. This remote role may require occasional office presence for client work, meetings, or trainings.

You will guide workforce planning, monitor utilization, and collaborate with Employee Experience, Recruiting, Finance, and Learning & Development to optimize staffing. The role emphasizes analytical skills, communication, and problem-solving, with travel up to 10%

Qualifications

• 4-year undergrad degree in Business Administration or Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of Tax or Assurance resource management experience.
• Strong MS Office skills, esp. Excel with pivot tables/macros.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and utilization metrics.
• Excellent communication, influencing and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor utilization levels for designated professionals and resolve issues.
• Approve resource requests in RM technology tool; manage PTO and CPE.
• Understand specialization, timing constraints, staffing continuity, and geography.
• Maintain knowledge of employees' skills and career development preferences.
• Deliver monthly staffing metrics and improve visibility of unallocated resources.
• Ensure workforce planning aligns with operational requirements and SLAs.
• Communicate effectively internally and with vendors.
• Operate knowledge of resource management platforms.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
