Job summary

The Doe Run Company is seeking a Resource Geologist III to oversee exploration opportunities and resource modeling, maintaining geological resources and supporting future exploration. Based in Viburnum, MO, this role combines modeling, data audits, and leadership within the Exploration group.

Responsibilities include leading drilling programs, developing resource estimates, and mentoring team members while following strict EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or related field.
• 5+ years geological experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in core logging, exploration geology, drill program management, geologic modeling, and resource estimation or operations.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop sound resource models for projects and audit/validate data regularly.
• Model geology in project areas using Leapfrog, Vulcan and related tools; generate exploration targets.
• Lead surface drilling programs (rotary and diamond) as needed across project phases.
• Assist with annual resource calculations and audits; compile data for resource estimates.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance per EHS policies; support continuous improvement.
