Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services; BLS.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing; 2 years of service-line RN experience preferred.
• Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork, and maintains current certifications.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs.
