Job summary

EECS Energy Consultants is seeking a Resource Efficiency Manager (REM) to lead energy projects at U.S. military bases in Germany, Japan, and at the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The REM will develop energy plans, manage statements of work, and identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption across facilities. Responsibilities include conducting energy audits, coordinating with facility managers, and supporting renewable energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Relocation required with relocation expenses provided.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written) and MS Word/Excel.
• Must be able to pass a security clearance.
• United States citizen.
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Professional Engineer (PE).
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in the energy conservation field.

Responsibilities

• Project management and assist with development of statements of work.
• Develop Energy Plan and Implementation Strategy.
• Identify energy savings opportunities using data and utility information.
• Develop and sustain an energy awareness and incentive program.
• Support utility demand reduction to maximize cost avoidance.
• Conduct energy audits and provide renewable energy support.
