Job summary

Energy Efficiency & Consulting Services, LLC (EECS) is seeking Resource Efficiency Managers for positions at US bases in Germany and Japan, and at the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT. Relocation expenses are paid.

Candidates should have a CEM or PE certification and 6–8 years in energy conservation. Responsibilities include project management, energy planning, data analysis, and coordinating with building energy monitors to reduce utility costs and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Relocation required; relocation expenses provided.
• English communication skills (verbal and written) and MS Word/Excel proficiency.
• Must pass a security clearance.
• United States citizen.
• Certification: CEM or PE.
• 6–8 years of energy conservation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage energy projects and develop statements of work.
• Develop Energy Plan and Implementation Strategy.
• Identify anomalies in facility energy use using data and spreadsheets.
• Establish a network of Facility Managers and Building Energy Monitors.
• Optimize facility operations to minimize energy costs.
• Support energy audits and renewable energy initiatives.
• Identify potential energy projects and oversee implementations.
• Recommend Operations & Maintenance improvements.
• Assist in developing microgrid projects.
• Complete design reviews.
