Job summary

EECS is seeking Energy Consultants or Resource Efficiency Managers (REM) to support energy projects at US military bases in Germany, Japan, and Salt Lake City, Utah. The REM will lead energy audits, plan development, and cost-reduction initiatives across facilities as part of a multi-base program.

Relocation is required; candidates must communicate in English and have certifications like CEM or PE, with 6–8 years of energy management experience. USA citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel and basic computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project management and develop statements of work.
• Develop Energy Plan and Implementation Strategy.
• Analyze energy data from spreadsheets and utility databases to identify anomalies.
• Build a network of Facility Managers and Building Energy Monitors.
• Identify facilities with the highest potential for energy cost savings.
• Support utility demand reduction to maximize cost avoidance.
• Conduct energy audits and provide renewable energy support.
• Identify and help implement energy projects and O&M improvements.
