Job summary

University of North Texas at Dallas is seeking a Certificated Teacher Resource (CTR) to assist in the academic program for grades 7-12 and support resource center operations. • General understanding of instructional strategies for middle and secondary students.
• General knowledge of California Common Standards in core subjects.
• Proficient with standard software applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Grade student work within 72 hours of receipt.
• Provide constructive feedback to students.
• Follow grading rigor reference guide.
• Provide tutoring sessions to small groups in Math, ELA, Social Science, and other subjects.
• Support each student’s PPEP.
• Assist and monitor Naviance surveys.
• Communicate with students and parents about events and progress.
• Assist teachers with testing and supervision.
• Attend trainings and professional development.
• Maintain a safe, organized resource center.
